Ultimate Frisbee: Week 3
Hi All,
Frisbee = Disc
Forearm / Forehand Throw here
Check the Ultimate Frisbee: USA vs. Aust here.
Points to observe:
Teams stay at end zone that they scored.
To start, player raises disc to indicate to opponent that they are going to 'pull'.
Opponents advance to where the 'Pull' lands on the ground or is caught.
Disc carrier do not rush because the stall count of 10 seconds.
Stack Strategy here.
Do post up your questions as a thread to this post.

Drag and Wrist Shots
Hello People,
Here are the main points:
a. Drag shot (Long Wrist shot)
§ Ball start from the back leg, drive the ball along
the surface till the front foot
§ Blade slide across the floor
§ Blade in contact with ball
§ Release the ball (shoot) when it reaches the front
leg (scoop the ball motion)
§ Weight should be shifted from the back leg to the
front leg
§ Use the upper body for rotation for optimum power
b. Wrist shot
§ Chest should be towards the goal (for accuracy)
§ Same side foot in front as the shooting side (for
optimum power)
§ Blade slide across the floor
§ Blade in contact with ball
§ The ball is released from the blade close to the
foot in front (for optimum power).
